Marc Kaim attended SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated with a B.A in Criminal Justice in 2003. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2008. He entered private practice immediately upon graduation from law school with a focus of complex World Trade Center subrogation claims with the firm Gottlieb Siegel. From 2008 through 2011, he served as counsel with the firm Gottlieb Siegel in New York City. Subsequently, Marc moved to the Capital Region, and most recently was part of the defense firm of Wilson Elser. He practiced as Of Counsel with Wilson Elser through 2022.

Marc Kaim focuses his practice on civil litigation, including nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, general liability, commercial ground transportation, products liability, insurance coverage, employment litigation and professional liability. He has represented health care professionals in disciplinary hearings and deposition testimony, and has counseled health care institutions on employment issues. Marc has extensive experience defending large corporate entities in high-exposure tort claims and high-profile employment matters; and he has counseled insurance companies in multimillion-dollar subrogation claims and high-profile personal injury matters. He has successfully tried numerous bench trials and defended clients during binding arbitration. Marc is familiar with all facets of trials and post-trial arguments.
